Welcome to Beavercreek Preschool

Hello Beavercreek Preschool Families,

My name is Kristine Montague, and I am honored to serve as the Principal of Beavercreek Preschool. Our preschool is a unique and special place designed to support our youngest learners as they begin their educational journey. We understand that starting preschool is an exciting milestone that may also bring questions and emotions for both children and families, and our goal is to create a smooth, nurturing, and joyful transition into school.

At Beavercreek Preschool, we are committed to creating a supportive learning environment where all children experience developmentally appropriate practices through a multisensory approach that meets the unique needs of each child. We believe children learn best through meaningful experiences that honor who they are, how they learn, and where they are developmentally—always in partnership with families.

Our preschool community is guided by three fundamental beliefs that shape everything we do:

  • We believe parents are a child’s first teachers, and that strong partnerships between home and school are vital to a child’s success.
  • We believe children learn best through meaningful play that encourages curiosity, discovery, and problem solving.
  • We believe children should feel safe, happy, loved, and confident, while learning how to be a good friend and part of a caring community.

To promote a positive and nurturing school culture, we focus on helping children develop early social-emotional skills, independence, and a love of learning in an environment where they feel known, supported, and valued each day.

We recognize the critical role families play in a child’s early learning experiences and are deeply committed to working in partnership with you. Open communication, collaboration, and shared support are essential as we work together to help your child grow, learn, and thrive.

Our Beavercreek Preschool administrative team includes a dedicated group of professionals who support children and families, including: Alexandra Morris, School Psychologist and Special Education Supervisor and Emily Duty, School Psychologist. Additionally, we are fortunate to have a Mental Health Counselor, an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant and MFLAC to support our military-connected students.

Thank you for trusting us with your child during these important early years. We look forward to working together to create a positive, memorable, and meaningful preschool experience for your family.

Warmly,
Kristine Montague
